Mount Athos Resort

Mount Athos Resort is a new luxury 5 star resort, situated on Agion Oron, the third and most tranquil peninsula of the three peninsulas of Halkidiki. The resort is located at the end of the town of Ierissos, next to its harbor, 10 kilometers away from the border of Mount Athos (The Autonomous Monastic State of the Holy Mountain), one of the most sacred places for Orthodox Christianity and 20 kilometers away from town of Stagira – the birthplace of Aristotle. The nearest airport is the International Airport of Thessaloniki, which is about 80 km away. The journey takes about 1.30 hours by car, driving through the spectacular landscape of Halkidiki peninsula with the seaside on the right. If you choose the option to come directly from Egnatia Highway, it is about 40 kilometers from the junction. Mount Athos Resort is build up on 75 acres of land next to the sandy beach and small pine forest. We do present three different types of accommodation, each of them providing different type of experience united by our understanding for luxury, fabulous holiday to remember with excellent service. The Mount Athos Resort includes :Mount Athos Hotel - Mount Athos Suites - Mount Athos Villas. Mount Athos Hotel is the first part of the resort, which is going to be open in April 2020. The accommodation is separated in two different locations, according to your preferences – in the main building or in suites around it. In the main building is situated the Reception and Concierge Desk, Lobby Bar, Sky Bar, The Restaurant with Kids’ Corner and Boutique. On the outside, facing the harbor and the swimming pools is situated The Tavern with a stage for live music and performances. There are two infinity swimming pools, one of them for children. There is a direct access to the beach and the sea through stairs. Next to the swimming pools is the Beach & Pool Bar and the Fusion Restaurant. Mini Market, Beauty Salone and Fitness are located near the bungalows. Entertainment and Sport Area for kids is close to the Tennis Court and Mini Football Playground
